Escape from the Castle and Ganon
|
 |
|
 |
With his final breath, Ganondorf has sent the castle crumbling around you. You have three minutes to get out before it collapses.
Follow Zelda watching out for the falling debris, and she will open the bars guarding the doorways. If you get to far ahead
of her, she will stop in fear, slowing you down. Zelda will get caught in the ring of fire, and the Stalfofs will leap up
again - defeat them quickly before they regenerate, and she will give you several recovery heats in gratitude. Watch out for
the redead on the bridge, and run out into the fresh air. If you succeed, the castle will collapse around you in ruins ( if
not, the game will restart at the top with the timer counting down).
After a few moments of peace, Ganondorf will burst from the rubble, and use the Triforce of Power to turn himself into
Ganon.

Ganon's first sweeping attack with his sword knocks the Master Sword from your hands, sending it skidding toward Princess
Zelda, and the two of you will be encased in a ring of fire. You must use the megaton hammer, or the Biggorn's Sword if you
have it, to defeat him. Like Ganondorf, this battle also has two parts. You must slip behind to his vulnerable tail section
in order to inflict damage. Avoiding his slashing blades you should be able to carefully manuever to his backside and hit
him on the tail. After you have hit him sufficient times, Ganon will fall to his knees, and the ring of fire will lower briefly,
allowing you to retrieve the Master Sword. In this second phase, it will be much harder to get around and stab his tail. You
can use the light arrows to stun him. At the end of the battle, Zelda will use her power to pin him in place, charging up
the Master Sword for the final blow. Link slashes at Ganon several times, and the six sages will banish him from the land
of Hyrule. Peace at last. Sit back and enjoy the final movie of the game.
