Goron City is located right below Death Mountain, above Kakariko Village. Talking to the Cheif of the Goron's Darunia reveals
that he is in a towering rage. Play Saria's Song to lighten his mood, and he will make a deal with you. Defeat the monsters
in Dodongo's Cavern and he will give you the Spiritual Stone. He also gives you the bomb bracelet that allows you to pick
up bomb flowers. Exit Goron City to the left, and toss the bomb flower off the edge to blow up the entrance to Dodongo's Cavern.
This is the second dungeon in the game, and perhaps only a little harder than the Deku Tree. Make sure that you bought
the Hylian Sheild from the Bazaar ( talking to the guard in Kakariko Village will get you a 20 rupee discount) because the
fire Keese will burn up your wooden Deku Shield. ( If you do loose your shield, there is a Deku Shrub in one of the niches
in the first room who will sell you a new one). After you defeat King Dodongo, Darunia will meet you outside and give you
the Goron's Ruby. You will also become sworn brothers, and Link will run in terror from the big goron hug.
The boss of Dodongo's Cavern is King Dodongo. Throw a bomb in his mouth when he exhales to breathe fire at you. Run up and
hit him while he's stunned, then quickly run to a corner of the room or to the edges of the lava pit to avoid being hit as
he rolls around. I find the easiest thing to do is stand in a corner and crouch down under my shield. Once you beat him, he
will curl up into a ball and roll into the lava pit, which cools and hardens around him. Grab the harp container and enter
the warp portal.
