The King of Zora's Domain is very distressed that his daugher the Princess Rutp has gone missing. Follow the walkway out from
his chamber and play the diving game to obtain a silver scale. Using your new scale dive through the doorway in the water
into Lake Hylia and dive down to pick up the bottle that Ruto left. Show the letter to the King and he will very slowly move
aside and allow you to pass behind him to the Shrine. Make sure that you have a fish in your empty bottle to offer to Jabu
Jabu. You can find some floating around in the shallow waters of Zora's Domain. Drop the fish in from of Lord Jabu Jabu and
he will breathe in, taking both you and the fish inside.
This is my least favorite of the kid dungeons, with the electric biri and sponges. When you find Princess Ruto she is
very annoyed and promptly walks right into one of the holes in Jabu Jabu's stomach. You have to follow her down and she will
allow you to carry her. If you get really annoyed you can throw her at the bubbles floating around and pop them. She will
eventually find "the thing she's looking for" the Zora's Sapphire, and then the platform you threw her on will raise
out of site and descend with the mini boss of the dungeon. You will find her again in the warp portal after you defeat Barinade.
She reluctantly admits she was impressed, and then asks what you want for a reward. She will give you the Spiritual Stone,
along with a pledge to be your wife.
The Boss of Jabu Jabu is Barinade. The important thing to remember here is to keep moving around or you get hit with the electricity
that he spurts out, and this is a good way to lose life fast. The pots around the room contain recovery hearts, but once you
use them they don't replenish. Use z targeting and circle around him to avoid getting hit. First you have to sever his tentacles
from the ceiling, z target and hit them with your boomerang. As he begins to move around the room his armor will come loose
and spin around. Hit his underside with your boomerang to stop his progress and destroy the armor while he's not moving. You
can hit them with your boomerang, but I find it easier to just hit them with my sword. Once you have destroyed both layers
of amor use the boomerang to stun him and then run and hit him while he is not moving. Barinade will sink into the ground
after a certain amount of hits, so watch out for his electric shocks. Once you beat him he will pimple up and explode, leaving
a heart container and the warp portal.
