When you enter Kakariko Village, you will find Sheik standing before the well, and the village is on fire. The Shadow Spirit
will burst from the well, and attack you when you pull out your sword and shield. When you wake up, Sheik will explain how
Impa locked the Spirit in the bottom of the well, but the spirit became to strong and broke free. Sheik will then teach you
the Nocturne of Shadow, that will warp you behind the graveyard to the Shadow Temple.(Before the Shadow Temple you must get
the Eye of Truth from the Bottom of the Well. Play the Song of Storms to the man in the windmill as a child, and the windmill
will drain the well. ( to learn the song of storms, go to the windmill as an adult. when the man in the windmill starts talking
about that mean kid with and ocarina, take out your ocarina and he will teach you the song). The Bottom of the Well is another
one of the mini dungeons, but I hate the well, and I prefer to take the short route - get the eye of truth and get out of
there as fast as I can. Locate the triforce symbol on the floor and play Zelda's Lullaby and the water will drain from the
floor. Go back to where you entered, and drop into the now empty pit and go through the hole. Defeat the Dead Hand and it
will give you the eye of truth. ( you have to let one of the hands grab you to bring him out of the ground. when you face
the second one in the shadow temple the eye of truth will reveal a dark spot where he is resting, place a bomb on top of him
to bring him out and you don't have to deal with the hands).)
This is probably my favorite temple of all. One thing to remember, use the eye of truth to reveal deceptions, and things
that you might not see. ( in the first room, once you pass through the shadow screen, one of other screens is false, and will
lead you back to a series of rooms where you find map, compass, and the hover boots. Use the eye of truth to point the statues
beak toward the "skull of truth" and use the hover boots to cross the chasm, and continue into the heart of the
Temple. Beware of flying pots.

Bongo Bongo is my favorite bad guy of all. His body is invisible without the eye of truth, and I would suggest taking off
the hover boots because you don't get a lot of traction with him beating on the drum. Shoot his hands, then his eye to stun
him. You know you've got a hit when his hand turns blue and he shakes it in pain. Hint - try to wait as long as possible when
you shoot his eye so that you don't waste time running up to hit him. Only trouble you might have is that some of his attacks
are unblockable. If he curls his hand into a fist, try to get out of the way, because your arrows will just bounce off. And
if he starts reaching for your, shoot him before he can grab you. If you get knocked off into the poison water, get back on
the platform before you suffer too much damage. Once you defeat him, Impa, the Sage of Shadow will give you the Shadow Medallion.
