This is the last ( and shortest) dungeon in the game, leading up to the final show down with Ganondof, King of Evil. As you walk up, you will hear Rauru's voice telling you the six sages will combine their powers to create a bridge across the lake of lava. Like the Spirit Temple, Ganon's Castle is divided into two parts. First, you must dispel the six barriers that create the engergy field blocking the heart of the castle. Afterwords, you proceed through a series of rooms and defeat the enemies within.



Each of the rooms pertains to one of the six temples in the game. After your complete each room, shoot a light arrow into the energy field and the sage will dispel the barrier. Make sure you get the golden gauntlets from the Shadow room before you go to the fire/light rooms. The light room hidden beneath a huge pillar at the bottom of the stairs. [ a few helpful hints: the light room has a fake entrance to the barrier room; wear the hoover boots in the fire room so the floor doesn't sink; wear the iron boots to avoid getting blown off the platforms in the Forest room; after you burn a hole in the ceiling of the Spirit room, watch for wall masters]. After you beat all six, the barrier will be sucked away.



Each of the proceeding rooms contains enemies of some sort. In the first room you encounter two Dinofols, advanced cousins of the Lizafos; the next room contains two Stalfos( don't forget to grab the boss key from the chest after the ring of fire goes down); and the final room is two iron knuckles - beat them one at a time.

GANONDORF KING OF EVIL
When you enter the room, you will see Zelda "safely" imprisoned in the pink crystal floating above the room. Ganondorf immediatly demands that you return the Triforce of Courage to him, and Navi tells you that she cannot intervene. As soon as you can move, run to one of the four corners of the room. Ganondorf will begin the battle with an earthquake punch that collapses the first row of boxes.( you might want to wear the hover boots so you don't fall off the edge accidentily) This battle is much the same as with Phantom Ganon, beating a ball of energy back and forth, except you must hit it back and forth several times. Once you score a hit, immediately shoot Ganondorf with a light arrow while he's stunned. Run to the center platform and deliver a few good blows,(jump attack is double damage) but get away quickly once he stirs so you don't get knocked down with an earthquake punch. After you have done this a few times, Ganondorf will begin to look a little haggard and his cloak will be patched with holes. He introduces his magic spell attack. The easiet thing to do here is just hit him with a light arrow while hes distracted. This stops the spell entirley, and stuns him in one blow. As he starts using this attack more and more, the battle will be almost over. After you deliver the final blow, Ganondorf will be amazed at his defeat, he coughs up blood and collapses on the floor with a roar, and Zelda will be released.
